Home Care and Support for Family Caregivers
Aging in place:
—it’s possible.
When your loved one begins to lose their independence, Autonomia steps in to help them continue living
at home.
A dedicated Autonomia Advisor, a
tailored support program, and practical implementation.
Our institutional partners.

The loss of independence—
—never affects just one person.
When a loved one loses their independence, we often find ourselves alone. Alone in dealing with the complexity of the process, alone in dealing with the growing number of people we have to interact with, and alone in facing the emotional burden of a situation for which no one has prepared us.
Do you support your loved ones?
Every year, millions of families find themselves at a loss when a loved one loses their independence. The growing number of people they have to deal with, the complexity of the process, and the emotional toll of the situation often leave caregivers to handle everything on their own. Without a plan. Without a safety net.
Do you support your employees?
In the workplace, this issue remains largely underestimated. Yet one in five employees is currently a family caregiver, and that figure will rise to one in four by 2030. The impact on absenteeism, performance, and quality of life at work is real and measurable. It is a strategic HR issue.
Am I a caregiver?
The Autonomia Program:
—a dedicated advisor, four steps.
Care management for home care involves a single professional who assesses the situation, develops a plan, coordinates all parties involved, and provides ongoing support.
Whereas your loved ones used to have to coordinate with 8 to 10 different providers, now they only need to deal with one.
Your Autonomia Advisor assesses the situation across seven key areas, develops a customized support program, oversees its implementation, and provides ongoing follow-up.

The same Autonomia advisor—
—from the first call to the last.
An Autonomia Advisor is a healthcare and social services professional—such as a social worker, a social and family economics counselor, or a nurse coordinator—trained in the Autonomia structured care management approach. They are knowledgeable about conditions affecting the elderly, available support services, and local service providers. Not just a switchboard: your Autonomia Advisor is always available and will monitor your situation from your first call to your last.
Three major players in the social protection sector—
—have made this choice.
AG2R La Mondiale, Malakoff Humanis, and Aésio Mutuelle have incorporated Autonomia into their offerings to help fund support services for their members.
Autonomia is a brand of the Oui Care Group .

Your questions about home care.
Who is Autonomia?
Autonomia is a comprehensive solution for aging in place. As a brand of the Oui Care Group—a French leader in personal care services and a mission-driven company—and with support from the Banque des Territoires, Autonomia supports family caregivers and businesses through a dedicated advisor with a background in the medical and social services sector, who oversees a customized support program from assessment through implementation.
What is a caregiver?
A family caregiver is someone who regularly provides support to a family member or loved one who has lost their independence due to age, illness, or disability. In France, there are 11 million family caregivers. They handle practical tasks, administrative procedures, care coordination, and provide emotional support. Most of them do not immediately identify themselves as caregivers.
How do I know if I'm a family caregiver?
If you regularly spend time—a few hours a week or more—helping a vulnerable loved one with daily activities, administrative tasks, or care, you are a caregiver, even if you don’t recognize yourself as one. 24% of caregivers do not identify as such. Our free, 3-minute self-assessment will help you find out for sure.
My parent refuses home care—what should I do?
This is one of the most common situations caregivers encounter. Resistance is almost never a definitive refusal: it is fear—fear of intrusion, of losing control, of having the loss of independence confirmed. Your Autonomia Advisor is trained to handle these situations: they will guide you on the best approach to take, the gradual introduction of acceptable forms of assistance, and the involvement of an expert third party who can often break the deadlock that the family alone is unable to resolve.
What is care management for home care?
Care management is a structured approach that involves assessing the needs of a vulnerable individual, developing a personalized action plan, and then coordinating all the parties involved: doctors, home care providers, government agencies, and family members. At Autonomia, this mission is carried out by advisors with backgrounds in the medical-social sector who are trained in our care management methodology.
Who is Autonomia for?
Autonomia serves two distinct groups. On the one hand, there are family caregivers—sons, daughters, spouses—who manage the daily challenges of a loved one’s loss of independence and need a single point of contact to coordinate solutions. On the other hand, there are companies and social welfare organizations that wish to establish a structured support system for their employees or members who are caregivers.
How does the Autonomia support program actually work?
It all begins with a comprehensive assessment conducted by your Autonomia Advisor, focusing on seven key aspects of home care. This assessment helps identify priority needs and develop a customized support plan. Depending on the package you choose, your Advisor can then implement the solutions, coordinate service providers, and provide regular follow-up. Each step results in a documented report.
What is the difference between Autonomia and a social worker or a CLIC?
Public agencies such as CLICs (Local Information and Coordination Centers) and social workers play a vital role in providing guidance. Autonomia goes beyond guidance: our advisors ensure the practical implementation of solutions, coordinate service providers, and provide ongoing support. We also step in to assist with complex or urgent situations where public agencies are unable to respond quickly due to their processing times.
What financial assistance is available to cover Autonomia support services?
There are several ways to reduce the cost of care. AG2R La Mondiale, Malakoff Humanis, and Aésio Mutuelle have chosen to cover the cost of Autonomia care for their members and beneficiaries: if you or a loved one is a member of one of these organizations, the cost of care may be fully covered.
How much does Autonomia coaching cost?
Autonomia offers four support packages—Vision, Structure, Impulse, and Serenity—ranging from an initial assessment to comprehensive support with follow-up over a 6-month period. For individuals, the most suitable package is determined in consultation with your Autonomia Advisor following an initial, no-obligation discussion, and the advisor can also provide a personalized quote based on your needs. For businesses and social welfare organizations, annual budgets are established based on the organization’s needs and size.
Does Autonomia operate throughout France?
Yes. Autonomia relies on the Oui Care network, which includes more than 900 local agencies throughout France, including in rural areas. To provide practical home care solutions, your Advisor can connect you with the right service providers closest to your loved one: Oui Care agencies, Silver Alliance affiliates, or qualified local partners. Whether you’re in the Paris region or a rural community, we can help.
