Autonomia becomes a partner of Malakoff Humanis

Autonomia announces a partnership with the mutual insurance company and pension fund Malakoff Humanis, strengthening its support services for seniors and family caregivers.

Since 2025, Malakoff Humanis members have been eligible for partial or full coverage of the support services provided by Autonomia, subject to the program’s terms and conditions.

This partnership is part of a shared effort to promote home care and prevent the loss of independence.

Comprehensive support for living at home

The support services offered by Autonomia cover all aspects of home care, including:

  • an assessment of the individual’s situation and needs
  • the organization of home care and nursing services
  • home modifications and making the living environment safer
  • Identification of available financial assistance
  • coordination among the various stakeholders
  • and support for developing a plan for living at home

The goal is to offer a comprehensive approach that focuses on the individual and their environment.

Coverage provided by Malakoff Humanis

As part of this partnership, Malakoff Humanis offers its policyholders and members access to the Autonomia support program, with either partial or full coverage, depending on the criteria established by the program.

This funding is intended to promote preventive measures and facilitate access to practical solutions for managing daily life.

The Role of Autonomia Advisors

The support services are provided by Autonomia Advisors, experts in home-based care.

Their role is to serve as a single point of contact in order to:

  • conduct a comprehensive assessment of the situation
  • offer solutions tailored to the person's needs and preferences
  • coordinate home and healthcare providers
  • monitor the implementation of solutions over time

This approach makes it possible to develop a coherent care plan tailored to situations involving frailty or loss of independence.

A Social Issue: Home Care

This partnership comes at a time of demographic change and a sharp increase in cases of dependency.

Today, staying at home is the preferred option for many older adults, and this requires closer coordination among those working on the ground.

Autonomia and Malakoff Humanis share the goal of facilitating this support and assisting caregivers in their day-to-day roles.
